A new movie(2010) still out there in theatres based on the book: Eat, Pray, Love, the leading role is played by Julia Roberts who hasn't been seen in any movie for along time, if you insist on watching then don't have any expectations, if you really loved the book so refrain from watching the movie so you will continue having good memories on the book.

Comedy Actors/Actresses in Drama - Oh God PDF Print E-mail

Being a Comedian and making people laugh is probably one of the toughest jobs and I am not talking about actors/actresses that get their scripts and lines made for them upfront, I am talking more about stand up comedy like the amazing Chelsea Lately. Many stand up comedians are great actors, but not many pull it off.

Will Smith should have stopped back then after the successful series of "The fresh prince of Bel Air" and even watching him in movies involving comedy was disappointing, so I don't even want to comment on what he look like in serious dramas, Will Smith should now continue making money off his kids and not appear in movies or show business at all, I am sure he has plenty of fans but as you can see I am not one of them.

Same goes for Jim Carrey even if he participates in a Drama and the movie hits it big time at the box office, it would have been more successful if he would have been replaced with an actor who has no comedy on his resume. It's hard for us to make a transition when you have already been tagged and typecased and have a long history in comedy.

More About Parents Pushing Babies and Children towards the Movie Industry PDF Print E-mail

In my last article I posted was about famous people pushing their kids in Show Business.

This article is similiar but is not about famous parents but on all parents in general who are doing the same thing.

I am talking about all the anonymous parents out there.........

People sometimes feel that they haven't lived their life as they wanted to and there is no way to change it and what usually happens is they start living their life through their kids and that's very sad, if it happens make an effort to try to change it.

The most disgusting thing a parent can do is start pushing their kids so they can have a piece of the fame and all their money, sometimes the kid actors go through horrible and exhausting conditions but the parents don't care about their child, more about fame and money, parents start doing that to their baby when he/she is still using diapers.

Give your child a stable life! Stop thinking of yourself! The tragic outcome of most of the children isn't surprising, at least not to me.

"There is no business like show business" is a correct thing to say but also consider the disadvantages.

Many  people dream and fantasize of being on television, participating in a movie and becoming a star, everywhere in Hollywood all the waiters and waitresses are waiting to be discovered by a known agent, this isn't my dream but I wish everyone else lots of luck assuming that everyone is adult and mostly know what they are doing.

The thing that makes me sad is Parents pushing their kids to show business at a very young age.

Madonna did a great job of keeping her child out of the showbiz world as much as possible even though her child is now becoming famous she did a great job considering her amount of fame the same goes for Pamela Anderson.

My example is Will Smith and what he does with his very young kids and started it when they were a lot younger, this is a disgrace, give kids a chance to live as kids as much of possible, kids need stableness and security, even when the parents state it was the kids idea, the kids don't know what they are doing or really want so it's a parents job to protect them.
